About The Position
As a Patient Service Specialist in our outpatient physical therapy center in Jacksonville, FL, you will be responsible for managing both the patient side and the business side of the center. This role is crucial in ensuring patients have an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive, starting at the front desk. The position is full-time with a specific schedule and compensation range of $16.00-$19.00/hour, pending experience. The company offers mentorship and orientation programs to ensure a successful transition.

Responsibilities
- Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
- Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
- Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
- Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
