About The Position

Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Patient Service Specialty Supervisor for our Outpatient Imaging offices who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Patient Service Specialist Supervisor you will provide day-to-day operational supervision of a team of administrative, technical, and/or clinical (non-provider) employees. This includes working in collaboration with the Office Manager to interview, hire, terminate, discipline, manage performance, etc. of non-provider team members. You will coordinate operational needs/requirements of the office, including maintaining machines and equipment, procuring office and medical supplies, equipment, phone service, IT support, etc. Additionally, you will assist the Office Manager in providing information for budget justification and maintain reports and records needed to account for utilization of funds. Along with the Office Manager, you will assist with developing, evaluating, and recommending methods to improve the processing of the work of the office and utilization of funds. You will be responsible for checking and monitoring that providers and staff are completing tasks in EMR, monitoring Appointment Manager past day and current day, and checking eligibility reports on a daily basis for all patient appointments. Completing test edits on a daily basis and reviewing and submitting charges daily will also be part of your responsibilities. Lastly, you will maintain PAR levels of office supplies and medical supplies in the office.
