About The Position

The Patient Service Specialist provides essential administrative and clerical support across multiple clinic locations. Employee works as a part of the care team performing those clerical duties necessary to prepare patients for a visit. Greet patients, checks patients in and out and collects fees. Ensures that accurate patient and insurance information is collected and entered in the EHR. Answers telephone, takes messages and makes appointments. Attendance is an essential job function. Employees will receive mileage reimbursement for travel between clinic locations. Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Travel to different clinic locations as needed to cover staffing shortages. Clinics include Corning, Pocahontas, Walnut Ridge and Paragould
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records systems
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various clinic locations
  • This is a Safety Sensitive position(the use of a Medical Marijuana card is prohibited according to Act 593)
  • Facial piercings are not allowed

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role preferred
