About The Position

As a Patient Service Specialist - Float, you will be responsible for managing both the patient side and business side of our outpatient physical therapy center. Your role is crucial in ensuring that patients have an exceptional experience from the moment they enter the clinic. You will greet and register patients, provide them with information about what to expect during their visit, and assist them with scheduling their next appointments. Your communication skills will be essential as you will regularly interact with various parties, including attorney offices, insurance companies, and our business development team. This position requires you to float to different clinics in the Battle Creek/Kalamazoo area, with your home clinic located at 1579 Capital Ave NE, Battle Creek, MI, 49017.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
