About The Position

Patient Service Representative Pride Health is hiring a Patient Service Representative for one of its healthcare clients in Connecticut. This is a 3-month contract with a possibility of extension with competitive pay and benefits. Length of Assignment – 3 Months (Contract with a possibility of extension) Location – Litchfield, CT 06759 Pay range - $18 - $20 an hour Shift – Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Job Summary The Patient Services Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care by managing intake, scheduling, and communications within a Primary Care setting. This role requires strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills to support both patients and clinical teams, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of Primary Care front desk experience.
  • Proficiency in Epic.
  • Medical Terminology Training required.
  • Strong communication, technical, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and team-focused.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient intake, scheduling, and calls using Epic and other healthcare systems
  • Coordinate with clinical teams to facilitate patient care
  • Schedule appointments and follow-ups, ensuring necessary preparation and authorizations
  • Maintain and manage work queues efficiently
  • Coordinate and manage medical records, including scanning non-clinical forms
  • Provide excellent customer service at all touchpoints
