Join Our Team as a Patient Service Representative! Location: Suburban Pediatrics & Alden Pediatrics Position: Full-Time Schedule: Some evening & Saturday shifts required About Us: At Suburban and Alden Pediatrics (a division of Medical Health Associates of WNY), we provide exceptional pediatric care and a positive experience for every patient and family. We’re seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) with experience in medical office settings or healthcare who is passionate about working with children and families, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting smooth office operations. What You’ll Do: Administrative Responsibilities: Greet patients and visitors, check in patients, and direct them to waiting areas. Ensure all forms, consents, and screenings are completed. Answer phones, route calls, and manage messages. Schedule, confirm, and follow up on appointments. Maintain accurate patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Process billing questions, verify insurance, collect co-pays and balances, and post charges. Facilitate patient flow and communicate delays. Support record requests, referrals, and patient check-out procedures. Other Key Responsibilities: Provide friendly, compassionate service to patients, parents, and colleagues. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings. Support new programs and workflow improvements. Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics. Assist with training and serve as a resource for other staff. Skills & Qualities We Value: Prior experience in a medical office preferred. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
  • Experience in office setting; healthcare/medical office settings preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy; experience with EMR systems (MEDENT preferred).
  • Must be available for some evening and Saturday shifts.
  • Required to work at both Suburban Pediatrics and Alden Pediatrics locations.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform tasks that involve walking, standing, bending, and reaching.
  • Clear communication and hearing skills for patient interaction and phone use.
  • Work in a well-lit, secure, climate-controlled environment with quiet to moderate noise levels.
