About The Position

Be the calm at the front desk. If you’ve worked the front of a medical office, you know the role: phones ringing, patients checking in, schedules shifting. You’re the one who keeps it all moving. We’re hiring a Patient Service Representative to support a busy musculoskeletal clinic in Rancho Bernardo. This is an onsite, hands-on front desk role for someone who knows how to manage patients, schedules, and payments with confidence and professionalism.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of medical office, front desk, or patient-facing healthcare experience
  • Comfortable with phones, scheduling, and multitasking
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Basic medical terminology

Nice To Haves

  • PSR or medical receptionist experience
  • Insurance eligibility or authorization experience
  • EMR/EHR familiarity
  • Experience collecting patient payments

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients efficiently
  • Schedule, confirm, and optimize clinic appointments
  • Answer multi-line phones and route calls appropriately
  • Verify insurance and patient demographics
  • Collect copays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket payments
  • Keep the lobby, front desk, and daily flow organized and professional
  • Communicate clearly with clinicians about patient arrivals and schedule changes
