About The Position

As a Patient Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients and referral sources. This is an in person position in a professional healthcare setting where consistency, attention to detail, and excellent communication are essential. Training Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for the first 4 weeks Regular Schedule After Training: Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM Rotating schedule of Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM ⚠️ Important: This role includes a 90 day probationary period with no missed days, no late arrivals, and no early departures. Strong attendance is critical to success in this position.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
2 to 3 years of experience in customer service, scheduling, or data entry
Familiarity with medical terminology
Strong multitasking and time management skills
Clear, professional communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently in an office environment
Proven history of reliable attendance and punctuality

Nice To Haves

Healthcare or medical office experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Answer a high volume of incoming calls throughout the day
Schedule patient appointments and manage intake information
Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance details
Accurately enter data into the Electronic Medical Records system
Respond to patient questions regarding appointments and accounts
Screen calls and take detailed messages when needed
Verify insurance coverage requirements prior to scheduled services
Communicate with referral sources to obtain additional information or provide updates
Support the team with additional administrative duties as assigned
