Experience with scheduling surgeries, providing instructions, and processing orders is a strong plus. Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in a medical office setting required
- Demonstrated strengths in communication, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, all of which are essential for success in this role.
Nice To Haves
- additional medical experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with scheduling surgeries, providing instructions, and processing orders is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet patients and provide excellent customer service
- Guide patients through necessary electronic health record and billing forms
- Maintain accurate patient demographics and insurance information
- Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays
- Support efficient patient flow from check-in to check-out
- Answer general patient inquiries about registration or billing
- Direct medical-related questions to appropriate clinical staff
- Schedule patient appointments with the correct provider
- Scan and upload documents into the electronic health record
- Perform other administrative duties as needed
