About The Position

Work in a customer service capacity providing administrative and clerical support to patients and customers in a medical setting. Greet patients and visitors, check patients in and out, and obtain necessary documentation. Verify and enters demographic information. Obtain and verify insurance authorizations/precertification. Complete medical record release requests and schedules/confirms patient appointments. Enter, review and submit charges for patient procedures and services daily. Collect co-payments and reconcile all daily reports and deposits for accuracy. Provide general office and clerical support to assigned area. Contribute to Mission effectiveness by promoting the spirit embodied with the Mission Statement: A. Service to the poor - Support the cause of those who lack resources for a reasonable quality of life. B. Reverence - Respect and compassion for the dignity and diversity of life. C. Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable
