Position Summary:You'll be the go-to person for patients seeking information on benefits, financial estimates, copay assistance programs, and other available resources. Requirements

Demonstrated proficiency in patient registration, admissions, and billing practices
Strong analytical skills for reviewing and interpreting financial information
Knowledge of health insurance and coding (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in computer/word processing software and internet navigation
Ability to identify and implement process improvements with attention to detail
High school diploma required
Minimum of three years of relevant experience in healthcare billing, collections, or financial counseling

Responsibilities

Serve as a financial resource for patients, caregivers, and staff, offering guidance on financial issues and available resources
Contact patients to review benefits and eligibility, providing information on potential out-of-pocket costs
Assist patients in enrolling in copay assistance programs and other financial support options
Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and actions taken in the practice management system
Collaborate with internal departments and leadership to ensure smooth communication and workflow
Enrollment into copay assisted programs
