About The Position

We are hiring for a Full Time Patient Service Representative (healthcare) to join our team! MedBridge Healthcare is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy. We partner with hospitals, universities, clinics, and physician practices to offer comprehensive fully integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care management of patients with sleep disorders. Must live in the following states and be on EST: DC, DE, FL, GA, MD, NC, NJ, PA, and VA. 90 Day Probation Period: No missed days, no leave earlies, no late starts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in customer service, data entry, and scheduling
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Strong multitasking abilities
• Excellent time management skills
• Clear and effective communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work remotely with minimal distractions, maintaining an office-like environment
• Proven track record of excellent attendance in previous roles
• Reliable home internet connection with appropriate speeds for remote work

Responsibilities

• Answering calls consistently throughout the day
• Managing patient intake and scheduling appointments
• Collecting patient demographic and insurance information
• Accurately entering demographic and insurance data into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
• Addressing patient questions, inquiries, and concerns regarding their accounts
• Assisting with call screening and taking messages
• Ensuring insurance coverage meets requirements for scheduled services
• Communicating with referral sources to gather additional information or provide updates on patient scheduling
• Performing additional duties as needed or assigned
• No missed work, early leave, or late arrivals during a 90-day probationary period
