Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and providers to gather information for accurate registration.
• Assign Medical Record Numbers and schedule appointments.
• Collect point of service payments and manage document collection and check-out functions.
• Respond to customer billing and payment inquiries.
• Manage the check-in and check-out process, including identification verification and confirming demographic and insurance information.
• Ensure appropriate forms are provided, signed, and witnessed during patient visits.
• Prepare end-of-day reporting or payment reconciliation.
• Schedule and confirm appointments in person or over the phone, entering appropriate insurance information.
• Initiate and validate referrals and authorizations.
• Provide proactive customer service by listening to patients and resolving concerns.
