Performs a variety of patient and customer service related activities, including, but not limited to, answering the phone in a timely and appropriate manner. Responsible for Invision Registration, patient scheduling in appropriate practice management system and other functions as designated. Department Position Summary: Performs a variety of patient and customer service related activities within the department. These functions include but are not limited to greeting patients and public, answering and screening telephone calls, Invision registration, receptionist duties, verifies insurance and handle payment processing. Updates patient profile at each visit. Serves as the liaison between the patient and medical support staff. Responsible for scheduling all patient appointments in an accurate and timely manner. Must maintain a clean neat organized work area including waiting area. Other duties as assigned.
