About The Position

SynergenX/Low T Center is looking for a Patient Service Coordinator to join their Tyler clinic. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth, professional, and welcoming experience. The coordinator will support both patients and clinical staff by managing front desk operations, coordinating schedules, and handling accurate administrative processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–2 years of medical office or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office; EMR experience a plus)

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Experience with insurance verification
  • Background in specialty clinics or men’s health
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and care
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
  • Schedule appointments and handle incoming calls and inquiries
  • Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays/payments
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system
  • Coordinate patient flow with clinical staff to support efficient operations
  • Manage front office tasks such as scanning, faxing, and data entry
  • Keep the reception area organized and compliant with clinic standards
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines
