Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Relevant experience in a fast-paced medical office highly preferred.
  • Epic experience preferred.
  • Positive, customer-focused approach, with commitment to providing excellent patient care.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate in other languages highly desirable.
  • Strong computer skills. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Basic working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Ability to travel independently to satellite offices with or without advanced notice.
  • Strong working knowledge of insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greets and registers patients, answering routine questions and maintaining records and accounts.
  • Facilitates communication between patients and healthcare providers and ensuring efficient office operations.
  • Responsible for scheduling appointments which will provide timely, accurate, friendly, and clinically appropriate patient access.
  • Responds to incoming correspondence from patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and beyond, in accordance with patient privacy and safety standards.
  • This role requires coverage at other offices bringing variety to your workday and the chance to collaborate across multiple teams and communities
