About The Position

The Patient Service Coordinator I coordinates with customers the most efficient method to schedule patient services. Exceeds customer expectations through the delivery of superior service demonstrating empathy, patience, and a positive attitude. Effective communication to ensure customers have a full understanding of the scope of service, ongoing aspects of care, and fully understand coverage and financial responsibility. Coordinate scheduling for existing patients to ensure continuity of care. Demonstrate effective communication skills to evaluate caller needs, provide solution, and closure to requests.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic medical terminology for homecare field.
• Effective and professional communication with customers and referrals.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Multi-tasking and follow-through for completion.
• Minimum of 6 months call center experience.
• Timeliness and prioritization of work.
• Adaptive, empathetic, and patient with a positive attitude.
• Time management, priority setting, and organization skills.

Nice To Haves

• Post high school education or training.
• 2 years customer service experience preferred.
• Experience working in a medical environment, familiarity with durable medical equipment preferred.
• 2 years call center experience preferred.
