We have an exciting opportunity for health care employees or entry level candidates looking to join our Front Office team as a Patient Support Associate. An ideal candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, both independently and on a team. This is a full-time position (36 hours/week) structured as three, convenient, 12-hour shifts. This is an onsite position at our Rotterdam location, with some, reimbursable, travel required.
Requirements
- All candidates must be fully vaccinated for COVID to be considered.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Excellent customer service skills preferred
- Experience using an electronic health record and Microsoft Office a plus!
Responsibilities
- Assist all patients that report to the front desk
- Greet patients in a prompt, courteous and professional manner
- Interact with a diverse patient population
- Utilize the electronic medical record to maintain patient records via scanning or registration
- Attend appointments, collect copayments, and other necessary information at time of check-in
- Schedule follow up appointments and referrals as needed (check out)
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct appropriately to team members
