About The Position

We are adding to our team and need a Patient Service and Referral Coordinator to join us in meeting our Mission.

Shodair Children’s Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Patient Service & Referral Coordinator to support patient access across all outpatient and genetic service lines. This role ensures timely, accurate registration and financial clearance while helping patients and families navigate systems of care.
The ideal candidate is an organized communicator with a strong understanding of healthcare operations and a commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.

Nice To Haves

• 3 years in a hospital or medical office setting.
• Experience in registration, financial clearance, or patient financial services.
• Knowledge of insurance plans, benefits, and EHR systems.
