The Patient Scheduling Representative will interact with patients and healthcare provider offices via phone and messages to schedule appointments. This role involves accurately performing administrative duties for scheduling, including managing inbound and outbound communication, working work queues, selecting correct appointments, and entering demographic and insurance information. As a liaison, the position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deliver high-quality customer service. The representative provides unsurpassed service for WakeMed patients scheduling outpatient services and physician practice appointments, working in a call center handling high-volume, fast-paced, metrics-driven communication, and coordinating with clinical staff.
