About The Position

The Patient Scheduler at Tidelands Health is responsible for scheduling patient appointments and ensuring that all necessary information is collected for efficient service delivery. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related customer-facing experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Ability to interact successfully with the public and maintain composure in high-stress situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and clinical staff.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated understanding of basic medical terminology.
  • Experience in call center, patient scheduling, or physician front-office roles.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments according to Tidelands Health protocols.
  • Ensure patients have all necessary information for their procedures.
  • Receive scheduling requests from physician offices and patients, coordinating with departmental availability.
  • Maintain open communication with hospital departments regarding schedule changes.
  • Perform various administrative support duties, including sorting and distributing mail.
