About The Position

The Medical Imaging Scheduler plays a key role in supporting a fast‑paced medical imaging department by coordinating a variety of routine to moderately complex administrative tasks. This position thrives on multitasking, especially during high‑volume periods, while ensuring patients receive timely and accurate scheduling for outpatient imaging services. Responsibilities include arranging appointments for CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Radiology procedures and providing dependable support to both patients and clinical teams. Requirements

• Associate's Degree --or-- Equivalent from a two year college --or-- Technical school with emphasis in healthcare --or-- 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training in health care related field

Nice To Haves

• Medical Terminology Certification or successful completion of a Medical Terminology course within 6 months of hire
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting (i.e. physician’s office, scheduler, etc.)
• Experienced in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations
• Medical imaging experience
