Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Possession of a valid Class “D” Iowa driver’s license or an equivalent license from the employee’s state of residence.
CPR
CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention) training, initial & yearly renewal
Knowledge of proper food handling and preparation.

Nice To Haves

Mental health or substance disorder experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Cleaning building, completing laundry, stocking supplies, and preparing food for clients
Respond to calls and provide front desk coverage
Completes safety rounding to maintain therapeutic, secure, and safe environment for patients/visitors/staff including enforcement of rules. Accurately documents safety rounds.
Intervenes appropriately and therapeutically in crisis situations using crisis intervention preventions and trauma informed care.
Demonstrate competence in recognizing and responding to patients physical, mental, emotional and developmental needs utilizing crisis prevention intervention and trauma informed care.
