About The Position

Reporting to the Director Patient Safety, the Patient Safety Program Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing state-wide patient safety strategies within California Providence Clinical Network. The role includes managing internal and external safety data, analyzing experiences, and coordinating action plans, contributing to the development and integration of key components of the hospital's Patient Safety Plan, as well as coordinating performance improvement initiatives and educational activities related to patient safety. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical discipline or healthcare related field or 4 years of experience
• 5 years Healthcare experience in an acute care or ambulatory care setting

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in Clinical discipline or healthcare related field
• Upon hire: Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Managements (CPHRM)
• Upon hire: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification
• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary collaborations.
• Proven record of resolving issues with key stakeholders.
