Position Summary: The Patient Safety Nurse is responsible for the operation of the patient safety program, under the direction of the Director of Quality, Patient Safety and Regulatory. The Patient Safety Nurse is an integral member of the St. Luke’s Quality team and plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. This position will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals across various departments to identify , analyze, and mitigate risks to patient safety, contributing to a culture of safety, quality and high-reliability within the organization. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
