About The Position

Safety Associates are responsible for the following: Transports patients to and from different areas according to patient schedules. Accompanies patients on outside medical appointments to ensure their safety. Reports observations of changes in patient’s condition/ behavior to professional staff. The Safety Associate works under the supervision of a licensed professional to provide constant observation of assigned patients and intervention if necessary to keep those patients safe.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Behavioral Health Sciences interest preferred

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from different areas according to patient schedules.
• Accompanies patients on outside medical appointments to ensure their safety.
• Reports observations of changes in patient’s condition/ behavior to professional staff.
• Provides constant observation of assigned patients and intervention if necessary to keep those patients safe.
