About The Position

Is effectively involved with maintaining the safety for assigned patients through continuous observation and surveillance. Communicates with the Registered Nurse and patient care team to ensure a safe environment for medical patients requiring constant observation. Recruiter will discuss shift availability upon time of offer. Dependent upon availability, possible shifts could include: 12-hour or 8-hour shifts Day, evening, or night shift Night shift differential: $1.75 Evening shift differential: $1.35

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Able to communicate and work with a wide variety of staff, patients and families
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Flexibility and ability to remain alert to safety issues

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Previous patient sitter experience
