Patient Representative
About The Position
The Patient Rep provides support services to patients throughout the continuum of perioperative care. The Patient Rep is responsible for meeting patients and family members in preop, updating families during the intraoperative period, and facilitating PACU visitation. The Patient Rep participates in process improvement activities in the department. The Patient Rep participates in work groups and initiatives to improve the patient experience. The Patient Rep completes additional duties as assigned by the Preop CNC, Surgical Services Director, and VP of Surgical Services.
