About The Position
The Patient Registration Specialist at Fort Loudoun Medical Center is responsible for the accurate collection and data entry of financial and demographic information for all patients registered at the facility. This role ensures that verification of benefits and pre-certification requirements are met prior to scheduled appointments or admissions. The specialist follows up on all urgent or unscheduled registrations to maintain consistency in the process and establishes controls to ensure unscheduled patients receive accurate information regarding their patient liability. The position requires working full-time night shifts, specifically Wednesday from 1am to 7am, and Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7pm to 7am.
