About The Position

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least one (1) year of related experience and/or training in a medical/clinic practice or customer service preferred
Responsibilities
- Communicates the admitting process to the patients.
- Assembles New Patient, authorization, and all electronic forms; verifies accurate and current patient information.
- Prepares schedules and daily appointments and records all information in patient charts.
- Checks insurance and collects co-pay or deductible per payment eligibility in computer system and/or using online tools to ensure correct and accurate data is collected.
- Responsible for sending provider referrals, pre-authorizations, and supporting documentation.
- Responsible for ensuring that opening and closing duties are completed such as cash drawer is open/closed, equipment is turned on/off, and doors are unlocked/locked for the day. Per clinic operations.
