About The Position

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• One year of experience in a medical office
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain collaborative working relationships

Responsibilities

• Registers patients
• Assures that patient charts for the day are complete with all necessary papers for the procedure
• Assures that all discharged charts are complete and organized by the policies of the facility
• Answers phone calls and pages staff and physicians, as necessary
• Maintains front office equipment
• Orders clerical supplies and forms as needed
• Insures all billing and patient information is correct at the time of service
• Assists other Business Office personnel with general clerical tasks when needed
