About The Position

Join a fast‑paced, high‑impact team in the Emergency Department as a Patient Registration Representative. You’ll be part of the front‑line support team that ensures patients are registered quickly and accurately—helping the ER run smoothly and efficiently. Work Environment This position is in a busy ER Trauma Center, so candidates must be comfortable with: Fast‑paced, constantly changing situations Exposure to trauma, including blood and sensitive medical scenarios A wide range of patients (children, adults, crisis situations, 5150 cases, etc.) This role offers a unique opportunity to build skills, gain experience, and grow within the healthcare field.

Responsibilities

Completing bedside registrations for ER patients
Gathering essential patient information, including names and insurance details
Using hospital systems (training provided—no prior system knowledge required)
Working closely with nurses, physicians, EMTs, firefighters, internal administration, and other clinical staff
Supporting a fast‑moving workflow where patients are continuously arriving
Providing excellent customer service during stressful or emotional situations
