About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Patient Registrar to support Radiology Patient Access services in Cortlandt Manor, NY.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of clerical or administrative experience (Required)
• Knowledge of patient registration workflows and insurance verification
• Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
• Proficiency with computers, keyboards, and office systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service–oriented mindset

Nice To Haves

• Prior healthcare or radiology experience (Preferred)
• Familiarity with ICD-9 and CPT-4 coding (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately for radiology services
• Verify demographic and insurance information
• Obtain and review insurance benefits and authorization requirements
• Enter and update patient data in registration and scheduling systems
• Answer incoming calls and assist patients and staff courteously
• Maintain data accuracy with strong attention to detail
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support patient flow
• Deliver high-quality customer service in a fast-paced healthcare setting
