About The Position

This is a full-time position at Marion General Hospital in the Emergency Department, with working hours from 3 PM to 11:30 PM on variable days and every third weekend. There is also a holiday requirement. The role begins the Revenue Cycle process by collecting accurate demographic and financial information to produce a clean claim necessary for timely reimbursement. Additionally, this position emphasizes providing exceptional customer service during encounters with patients, families, visitors, and Ohio Health Physicians and associates.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• One to two years of previous experience in a medical office setting.
