About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY The Registration Rep/Security Representative is often the first point of contact with our facility, so a strong Customer Service Focus is imperative. The Registration Rep/Security Rep should be able to effectively communicate with the patient to obtain necessary information for efficient registration processing, including demographic information and insurance information. Desired qualities for a Registration/Security Representative are self-motivated and driven person with a positive outlook, optimism and a can-do attitude who never meets a stranger. The Registration/Security Representative is responsible for providing access to our secure units of OB Observation and Pediatrics.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years customer service experience, including working on a computer.
Nice To Haves
- Business School or College Coursework
- 1-2 years healthcare/hospital experience and /or customer service experience.
- 1-year computer experience.
