About The Position

The position involves coordinating patient transfers and bed assignments across all services within the capabilities of the organization. The role requires collaboration with accepting physicians regarding the provision of care for patient admissions. It is essential to comply with guidelines, institutional policies, and procedures to determine appropriate transfers and admissions into the Medical Center, Emergency Department, and St. Bernards Behavioral Health.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program in Emergency Medical Services or Nursing.
• Current licensure to practice as an Advanced EMT in the state of Arkansas.
• Two (2) years of related healthcare experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bed Control experience strongly preferred.
