Responsible for patient meal service food on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup, special requests and needs, and in-between meal food delivery. The role involves communicating patient food issues, concerns, and needs to department team members and interacting with nursing employees regarding patient nutrition requirements. It also requires accurately and effectively reacting to all changes to ensure efficient timing of services and accuracy of physician's ordered modified diets.
