About The Position

The Patient Nutrition Representative is responsible for managing patient meal services on assigned units, which includes menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup, and addressing special requests. This role requires effective communication with team members and nursing staff to ensure that patient nutrition needs are met accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Six months of previous food service experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient meal service food on assigned units.
• Handle menu selections and tray assembly.
• Deliver and pick up meal trays.
• Address special requests and needs from patients.
• Communicate patient food issues and concerns to team members.
• Interact with nursing staff regarding patient nutrition needs.
• React to changes in orders to ensure timely and accurate service.
