About The Position

The Patient Liaison is responsible for making the Hoboken University Medical Center experience more comfortable and satisfying for patients, families, and significant others. The Patient Liaison assists patients and their families with questions regarding personal needs and hospital procedure and resolves issues and concerns patients and their families may have. The Patient Liaison provides a variety of services to promote and enhance patient satisfaction and continuously engages with staff, patients, and families. The Patient Liaison provides feedback and direction for staff to improve their customer service skills on an on-going basis. Investigates and resolves Press Ganey survey comments, as directed, and submits an action plan to management. The Patient Liaison will be expected to meet with, clearly understand and maximize potential of the Press Ganey representative assigned to Hoboken University Medical Center.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience in customer service environment preferred, computer knowledge necessary
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
