About The Position

The Technical Business Analyst at Pfizer plays a crucial role in delivering digital experiences to various stakeholders within the Patient Insights team. This position involves co-leading complex cross-functional projects, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting both technical and business requirements. The role requires collaboration with brand teams and digital stakeholders to enhance patient-facing digital solutions and improve specialty pharma services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology Management preferred.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • High proficiency in Agile development methodologies, especially scaled agile and lean techniques.
  • 3+ years of experience collaborating with and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in understanding business requirements and technical concepts.
  • Proficiency in requirements management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools and writing SQL queries using cloud databases like Snowflake.
  • Strong facilitation, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Tools - Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Science degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology Management.
  • Experience with UX and UI tools like Figma and MIRO.
  • Ability to adapt to changing working conditions and assignments.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Agile Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Co-lead teams to ensure all projects are delivered within scope, budget, and schedule according to Pfizer Digital Lifecycle processes.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to manage and control changes to project parameters.
  • Review completed projects against business cases to ensure projected benefits are realized.
  • Gather and manage requirements through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and digital teams to manage the Specialty Patient Journey.
  • Develop and interpret complex business requirements into wireframes and prototypes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on project planning, execution, and implementation activities.
  • Establish a stakeholder communication strategy to ensure timely updates on progress and risks.
  • Anticipate objections and manage conflicts through open dialogue across teams.
