About The Position

The individual in this role is responsible for managing patient flow across NYP hospitals, including both domestic and international patient transfers. This position requires close collaboration with all team members across NYP to ensure high-quality patient care, optimal physician and patient satisfaction, and efficient and innovative patient placement operations. Provide administrative coverage for the NYP Transfer Center. Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to assure optimal patient flow. Oversee transfers facilitated by the NYP Transfer Center. Participate in data review and QI projects for Transfer Center. Serve as resource for the NYP Transfer Center. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years in a managerial/leadership role (e.g., previous supervisor/charge nurse).
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Registered Nurse with NYS License.
