About The Position
The position serves as the liaison amongst EvergreenHealth's Patient Financial Services, Patient Access, Professional Billing, Contracts Management, Health Information Management, Revenue Integrity, and other hospital departments, as well as external collection agencies, outsourcing vendors, and other vendor partners. The role coordinates the highly complex research and resolution of discrepancies by working with all units of the department and performing all necessary patient accounting procedures to ensure proper handling and account resolution. This encompasses department functions and activities which may include reconciliation, processing and financial assistance approval, review of charges, billing information, account activities affecting the accounts, and audits.
