About The Position

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Financial Navigator to join our clinic in Naples Pine Ridge, FL. This role is crucial in ensuring our patients receive the best financial guidance and support throughout their healthcare journey.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working in a healthcare field, preferably in a clinical setting or business office.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Understanding of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of the managed care authorization process.
• Familiarity with ICD10 codes.
• Collection experience.
• Ability to calculate and collect patients’ responsibility and insurance co-pay/coinsurance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for monitoring and collecting the financial responsibilities of our patients.
• Keep patients’ insurance benefits up to date in OncoEMR and Centricity.
• View the patients’ services for diagnosis and insurance coverage appropriateness.
• Perform the daily tasks of Managed Care and Patient Financial Navigator.
