Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Three (3) + years of experience in the medical field business office with prior experience in the collection of self-pay and insurance accounts.
  • (Preferably at a supervisory level)
  • Strong verbal communication skills in dealing with patients' financial matters.
  • Experience in accounts receivable management.
  • MUST be willing to travel to each location monthly.
  • Normal Business Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

  • Associate's Degree or Higher Education Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Patient Financial Navigators in the Regions/Clinics assigned and reviews their performance of Managed Care duties and patient collections.
  • Responsible for providing training regarding Florida Cancer Specialists (FCS) collection policies and procedures to Patient Financial Navigators staff.
  • Maintain and approve Managed Care employee staffing and payroll for Regions assigned.
  • Work with the Clinic Finance Manager to address any Physician and Office Manager issues concerning Managed Care.
