This is on-site position Monday to Friday 8-5pm in our Fort Myers office. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding financial obligations, insurance coverage, and payment options Verify insurance benefits and eligibility, including commercial, Workers’ Compensation (WC), and Auto Injury claims Provide upfront cost estimates and explain patient financial responsibility prior to services Manage and follow up on patient balances, including collections and payment arrangements Coordinate billing processes to ensure accurate and timely claim submission and reimbursement Handle Workers’ Compensation and Auto Injury cases, including claim setup, authorizations, and ongoing account management Work closely with billing team to resolve claim denials, underpayments, and discrepancies Maintain compliance with payer guidelines, state regulations, and practice policies Document all patient interactions and financial agreements in the practice management system Assist with financial hardship applications and payment plan administration as needed
