The Patient Financial Clearance team at UT Southwestern has a new position available for the role of Patient Financial Advisor II. This position operates with limited oversight and guidance to provide financial counseling and clearance to patients that occur across two or more revenue locations. This is a remote, work-from-home position that functions in a call center-style environment, focused on delivering high-quality customer service over the phone. Core duties for this position include the following: Patient Communication: Clearly explain billing statements, answer questions about charges, and address concerns regarding financial responsibilities for upcoming services. Financial Assistance: Guide patients through various financial assistance programs and eligibility criteria. Payment Processing: Collect payments for upcoming services and/or outstanding balance. Debt Resolution: Offer solutions and negotiate payment plans for patients facing challenges settling their bills. Compliance: Ensure all interactions and processes adhere to UT Southwestern financial policies and regulations Work From Home (WFH): This is a WFH position. However, applicants must live within the State of Texas. Additional details shall be provided as part of the interview process. Shifts: Monday – Friday, 8-hour workday. The shifts will be one of the following (below) and shall be discussed in greater detail during the interview.
