About The Position

The Patient Experience Representative at Capital Health is responsible for ensuring that patient inquiries and requests are handled in a friendly and responsive manner. This role involves anticipating the needs of patients, guests, and visitors, providing comfort and emotional support, and maintaining a welcoming environment. The representative will also perform clerical duties, assist with wayfinding, and collaborate with security personnel to ensure safety and hospitality within the facilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure inquiries and requests are addressed in a friendly and responsive manner.
  • Anticipate the needs of patients, guests, and visitors to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of department locations and direct guests using facility maps or other aids.
  • Respond immediately to guest inquiries and provide comfort and emotional support as needed.
  • Survey lobby and surrounding areas to ensure they are inviting and assist visitors as they enter.
  • Utilize service recovery skills in problem-solving situations.
  • Promptly and courteously answer phones and provide clerical and administrative services as needed.
  • Collaborate with security personnel to provide a hospitable and safe environment.
  • Perform temperature screenings on individuals entering Capital Health facilities as needed.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly front desk for a positive first impression.
