About The Position

Responsible for serving as a primary contact for patients and their families, providing both proactive service and service recovery when required. Collects feedback through surveys and audits and assists in the identification of patient satisfaction gaps. Assists in the development of recommendations and implementation of new patient experience initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years experience in Healthcare, Customer Service, Hospitality or relevant area.
  • Must be able to work occasional weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors' degree in Healthcare or relevant area.

Responsibilities

  • Addresses and greets patients and visitors upon arrival and offers direction and assistance as required.
  • Utilizes the skills and provide experience to the family members of the patient for patient care experience.
  • Works with the team members, staff and physicians.
  • Analyzes and resolves complaints and concerns and communicates issues to appropriate staff.
  • Works with individuals or departments to minimize service delays and communicates delays to patients and families.
  • Identifies and implements systems and processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining service/mission quality.
  • Provides data on patient care issues, maintains reports, analyses trends, and forwards information to appropriate departments for action.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
