About The Position

The Patient Experience Liaison is a full-time role focused on enhancing the experience of patients and their families at Baptist Health Floyd. This position serves as the primary contact for individuals entering the surgery waiting area, ensuring they feel welcomed and are directed to the appropriate services. The Liaison proactively assesses patient needs and facilitates communication between surgical services and patients, contributing to various projects aimed at improving overall patient experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for patients and their families entering the hospital.
• Act as the primary contact for individuals in the surgery waiting area.
• Assess the needs of patients and direct them to the appropriate areas for registration and consultation.
• Facilitate communication between the surgical services team and patients or their family members.
• Assist with Patient Experience (PEX) projects and initiatives to enhance service delivery.
