About The Position

An expert in patient experience and patient and family centered care, this position works in partnership with assigned teams and collaborates with ambulatory based departments, patient relations, directors, and physicians to ensure the organization meets or exceeds the patient experience goals as measured by voluntary surveys as well as the federal and state required patient experience surveys (CGCAHPS).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Health/Business
  • One year of relevant healthcare experience, including project management experience

Responsibilities

  • Conducts monthly site visits at assigned locations and provides recommendations for improvement based on patient experience scores and initiatives
  • Develops in-services for assigned locations to improve the Patient Experience
  • Creates reports on a quarterly basis for USF Health departments and divisions from the Press Ganey Portal or supplies data as requested from Department Administrators, Administration, or Clinical Operations to drive leadership decisions
  • Mentor, coach and educate the practice plan administration and staff on patient experience scores and action plan to improve scores
  • Escalates initiative risks to leadership identifies and manages risk and quality issues that arise during initiative for timely resolution
  • Creates awareness of the patient experience initiative and drives change management effort internally and at the practices to promote ownership of the patient experience across all levels
